Ulisses well deserves its name: UlIsses evokes voyages, adventure,
wandering, love, leaving, returning. The myth of UlIsses could have
been the origin of the Portuguese Saudade, this fatalistic nostalgia,
marked by waiting, so linked with the sea and the uncertainties
it generates.

ou menos consciente o embrião do que será o seguinte:
Sensus, o disco precedente da cantora portuguesa, foi a exploração
da veia erótica que tinha aflorado numa musica do opus anterior,
Corpo Iluminado.
Ulisses faz justiça ao seu nome: Ulisses evoca a viagem,
a aventura, a divagação, o amor, a partida, o regresso.
O mito de Ulisses podia ter nascido da Saudade portuguesa, essa
nostalgia fatalista, marca da espera, tão ligada ao mar e
às incertezas que ele gera.
